I was going to say, after reading some of his other posts, I think it's a couple of years since he last did any school work!

| Quote: tvoc "While in reality he's old enough to be your granddad sonny jim.'" Which makes his teenage temper tantrum on the Saints forum about last Friday's match all the more funny.
Just goes to show that watching the game for a long time and knowing a lot about it aren't necessarily linked.
Oh, and thanks to Lord P for putting more lead into my pencil

| I take it Rogues Gallery was too embarrassed to return to this thread after he made a fool of himself again?

| I never hide
I didn't realise I had to report in every day.
Had to pick my pension up.
Why did Leeds release all those "top class" props.
O'Carroll and Prescott have both won International caps.
I do hope you win tonight but my points re last Friday still stand.

Ah, Ireland.
The dumping ground for players who couldn't get in the England or Australia squads...

| Quote: G1 "You asked what props we had produced. I named 9, 8 of whom are still playing SL and 5 of whom (6 of Fozzard has - I can't recall) have represented GB.
I asked you when Wigan last produced an international prop. You didn't answer.
The p[iissi[/ing contest is over all right. It barely began.
I think the word is 'owned.'

| I dont think wigan can be criticised for producing youngsters; but their fans should be for their patience with them.
I remember a few years back when Leeds where always the also rans a lot fans getting on the teams back - don't those people look silly now.
If all clubs had chairmen and managers who were as patient and believed in youth as much as Leeds have the last few years, the England team would be in a lot better position.
Fingers crossed, teams have learnt from Leeds recent success and will follow suit. I think the new rules regarding home produced players will work towards this, but I do think they need to be tightened regarding where players can travel from. Leeds Wigan and Saints do seem to sign up a lot of youngsters and let them go, maybe they'd get more of a chance at other clubs to develop? Not blaming the clubs mind.
Anyone else think home produced players U23 should have some kind of exemption from the salary cap? Maybe only half their salaries to count?
Re KL - they dont make em like that over here!

Something I've been asking for over the last four years.
