| A great signing and a player who is a massive upgrade on last seasons halfbacks. Hopefully we can get the best out of him in the way Salford did.

By my reckoning the £300k paid for these two takes the total transfer spending in the Hetherington/Caddick era to more than £2m.
Not all were big fees but here's some highlights of those we've paid money to bring in (there will be others):
Iestyn Harris
Daryll Powell, Darren Fleary+7 others
Ryan Sheridan, Dean Lawford & Anthony Farrell
Karl Pratt
Keith Senior
Willie Poching
Gareth Ellis
Jay Pitts
Kyle Amor
Zak Hardaker
Darrell Griffin
Paul Aiton
Brett Ferres
Cory Aston
Matt Parcell
Rob Lui
Callum McLelland
Jarrod O’Connor & Sam Walters
Luke Gale
Kruise Leeming
Brodie Croft & Andy Ackers

Maybe a better question than "how much have we paid in transfer fees" is "has anybody else paid the same, or more? " I doubt it.

Brodie Croft & Andy Ackers'" Out of that list of 24 names (excluding Croft/Ackers) I'd say we got four I could categorise as Legends or at least outstanding, seven 'very good's, six 'OK's and seven duds.
Not sure if that's a good hit rate or not although most - but not all - of the duds were cheaper buys.

| Looking forward to seeing Croft next year , he should be just what we’ve needed.
Prop depth is still a concern but actually excited about watching our backs for first time in many years.
Hope Newman goes well for England and stays fit.

| I think the call up will be good for Harry, being in that environment with strong expectations from wane. Just hope he stays fit but that wouldn't be a reason to not let him go.
