I think he might be a suprise inclusion in Shaun Wanes England team.

With the way he looked after the game and his celebrations to the win, I wouldn’t be surprised.

In a way, I'd love him to be back, but given the longer term consequences of previous rushed returns to action I'd rather they err on the side of caution.

I read on twitter (so pinch of salt time) that someone spoke to him after the game and they said see you in the world cup and he said you might see me next week.

I think Martin centre and Hardaker wing is by far the best solution give we have other back row options (assuming Newman isn't fit anyway).

Don't really rate Hardaker as a centre. At Leeds before his best work was as a winger and later as a full back.

Hardaker played very few games on the wing for Leeds first time round - just 9 starts there. He also didn't play that many games in the centres either (21 starts), as he switched to fullback midway through 2012 in his first full season when Webb got injured and pretty much stayed there until he left in 2016. By contrast he played 135 games from fullback.

The MRP shouldnt be able to punish things like this, that have quite clearly been reviewed by the VR during the game. It was checked, and not even penalised. Happens every game.
