Of the people missing two are suspended, One is one a long term loan deal, Walker/Myler only one plays, Holroyd/Mustapha again only one plays - Newman/Sutcliffe/Briscoe/Fusitua only 3 out of 4 play. Johnson wouldn't play if Dwyer/Leeming fit. In reality only 6.

I agree with that and thought the same thing.
I suppose what`s been said is that some of the other players listed would be playing as cover for the 6 if fit.

Now we know that we have no further suspensions this week, and assuming we do sign Hardaker, I'd go with:

Id put Martin at Centre over Mellor, thought he went ok on Friday when moved there

Perfectly happy with that too. I put Mellor there as I think Martin is the better back rower and I think the game will be won and lost in the forwards.

He can but pity the poor sod who has to drag Hardaker out the Skyrack

I’d rather play Simpson than Mellor though. We need to still look ahead and Simpson will be buzzing and wanting to keep his unexpected run in the team going. Mellor offers nothing more at centre imho…..

KR have lost Linnett to a 12 week injury. I expect a youthful team to come to Headingley on Friday with them having the CC Semi final week after, not worth losing more players to injury / suspension / HIA.

We should be looking to put a solid performance in and score some points/ boost morale with another win

In a way I hope so because we desperately need the points. I certainly couldn't see our current decimated line up coping with them at anything like full strength. Just can't recall Tony Smith playing weakened teams before big games before.
