Where and when did agar say this? I assumed they were talking about the pre or post match interview when he said that he didn't blame catalan but they could end up by playing significantly less games than us and also avoid some of the big guns.During the interview that I watched he clearly stated that it wasnt catalans fault and it was just down to the crap that covid had spewed up.

Agar packaged it up nicely but the intent I heard was "look, we've busted two guts trying to stay COVID-free, made sacrifices and lost games because we've had to field youth sides - has every other club done as much?".

I can see how Cats might have taken some offence at that TBH. Then again he probably does have a point - there are some players who have been too slack with their protection and as soon as the virus gets into camp it will spread like wildfire of course.

Having said that players have normal lives outside of the game, families and kids and it really isn't that easy to completely lock down away from anyone else all the time.
