You are right in some respects re. Ferres. I will say that we should cut players some slack when they’re injured; they play busted and probably build up physical problems which are lifelong.
BUT I also think as a professional sportsman in an endurance and power sport like RL, there is no excuse for being fat. It’s your job.

Richie Myler has regressed massively since leaving Warrington, took Catalan to the Million pound game and Leeds from a GF to the middle 8's.

Yes it was all down to Myler - he even won player of the year fr his efforts.

I actually think he's been on the decline since leaving Salford, but I think he can still be effective if we manage to lay a platform for him.

Anyone on the basis of the opening two games scapegoating Merrin, Walker or Ferres are deluded and do not understand the game or what they are watching.

Myler has been very poor. I wouldn't call his criticism scapegoating he just simply has not been good enough. He gets caught in two minds to often and plays break down too often due to him holding on to the ball for too long. I still think he deserves a few more games with Lolohea though. but if he doesn't improve it will not be long before Callum Mac is called upon.
