You see, win or lose it doesn’t matter, not if we can put in another 40 like that. More passes and offloads in 40 mins than previous 15 games. Effort and desire that’s all it takes.

Good to see they look like they’ve been given the freedom to play what’s in front of them rather that the one out stuff of late. Really dislike the negative tactic of drilling the ball out so early in the game.

Im not usually a fan of the tactic but it’s doing its job, saints back 3 are dangerous so its taking them out of the equation. Im more than happy with that first half even if we lose weve shown up

Great effort and hustle in defence, though we've been beaten by pace and footwork a lot, which will often be the case against a back line like Saints, though we've kept Barba fairly quiet. Some good line breaks going forward. Watching via a slightly fuzzy feed but it looks as if the newer lads are putting their hand up.

On a negative note, Moon has been very dire, and Sutcliffe must put his hands on the ball less than any other half in the league!
