Golding has been playing very well and does not deserve to be dropped for Walker. Might be worth giving Walker a run at 6 for part of the game as we need some sharpness up front.
I think both Oledzki and Smith should not be overplayed and leaving them out should not be seen as dropping them.

I disagree.
Maybe Walker or Dwyer on the bench depending who is fittest on the night.
Golding imo has played well defensively and defence is what is needed against Wire this Friday.

i see the Walker fanboys from social media are filtering onto here.
walker is good and may end up being great, but very little between him and Golding at the moment. Golding playing well and does not deserved to be dropped. that said no place on bench for Dwywr and walker, so would go with walker as Golding has looked good filling in at 9 as well.

| I think its neither here nor there who we select at FB, first and foremost we have to be at it in the pack and match wire there to win this game.
Big match this, 2 points is all that matters.

Stevie Wonder can see the gulf in class between Walker and Golding - its huge.

Fanboys?
Walker is every bit as good as Golding in every facet of the game & a step above in attack in particular that's not fanboy stuff that's shown in his performances.
I like AG but Walker is a better FB.

| Walker and Dwyer to drop out according to McDermott. Dwyer is about a week away, and Walker will play in the 19s to get some fitness back.

| I think these thinking there is no difference are on a different planet. It is unfortunate on Golding it really is, as he gives his all and is a gifted player in his own right. However, the team are miles ahead when Walker plays in the position. His influence on the team is far greater than Golding. An interesting stat is just how many drop outs we make per match with Golding at fullback, in comparison to Walker, and look at the effect that alone has on the side.

| Walker offers something different for sure. I'm not sure how long it'll take for opposition coaches and defenders to start to read him though. Where he goes when (if) that point is reached is the crucial thing for me. I'm not sure he has the pace that a young Tomkins did. In the meantime, it's a joy to watch a full back who plays with a touch of the unorthodox and poses a real threat in attack.

every body keep saying about his supposed threat in attack, but i really have not seen that much of it, think its just one of those myths people state as fact. its ok scoring hat tricks against doncaster but not seen much again good teams, people making out like he is busting the line her there and every where ans scoring trys for fun.
as stated earlier he may be the better player but there is not much in it, and at the moment Golding has the shirt, if walker is that good he should have no problem taking it from him.

I never said he was busting the line here, there and everywhere. I haven't even said he's better than Golding and I didn't say he should be picked ahead of him. What he looks capable of is making the odd clean break in a game - an area in which we're lacking. That's all it would take to win those one point defeat games and secure the ones where we're clinging onto leads of less than a converted score. Tiny margins, in other words.
Besides, I like watching him play. That ok?
