FWIW i think segeyaro is a better player than Parcell but Parcell is a better all round fit for us in what he brings to our team and style of play.

He saved us from disaster of relegation to the championship, that regardless of what happened after I will always be grateful for.

At this current time we have IMO a better player at hooker and one again we can thank Segeyaro for with regards leaving.

Those that hold grudges over time, really need to learn poop happens. If Parcell wasn't here, and or not in the future, then I would take Segeyaro back in a shot. If Hetherington wouldn't due to what happened previously, then he would not be putting the club before his personal pride.

That last paragraph is utter tosh you reap what you sow & those that cause those "grudges" in most cases need to learn you're accountable for your actions.
Finally that last sentence is completely wrong purely because GH WOULD be putting the Club first if the situation arose & he refused to sign Segeyaro because he knows JS would be unreliable untrustworthy & all about himself.

All In your opinion of course. Not true, but opinion. We don't know about that last bit you put, it was quite clear that GH told a few Porkies along the way regardless of what came out. Plenty of players have not settled here, that's life it happens. Grudges are for people without something worthwhile.

Not if GH went out and signed a hooker who was just as good if not better come the time. Who knows what level Segeyaro will be at at the "back end of his career", we maybe talking a player who isn't anywhere near good enough anymore.

We don't have him to thank for getting Parcell, we have GH because he went and got Parcell and if Segeyaro had said earlier that he wouldn't be staying (which no one would've had a problem with) then GH would've still had to go out and get a new hooker for 2017 and Parcell had already been on his radar.

As for saving us from relegation, he certainly helped us and made it easier towards the end but I'm pretty certain we'd have been fine anywhere and we had started to turn a bit of a corner in the weeks before with some wins.

You're trying to defend a player who said he was left alone looking at 4 four walls every night and said he needs to be at home with family and friends but is now saying he enjoyed the experience and wouldn't mind coming back over to a country he allegedly couldn't carry on living in.

I know you're obsessed with knocking GH every time (grudges aren't healthy apparently ) but taking that angle on this just makes you look silly.

As for you're view re-grudges like i said above you reap what you sow JS caused that situation then lied about it GH/Leeds as a Club have plenty worthwhile & it'd be common sense to protect it from any future dealings with someone like JS.

He has totally contradicted the reason that he had to get out of the hell hole that was being at the Rhinos and was being left totally isolated living and eating on his own each day

I think this was why Leeds were upset with the situation. He made out he wasn't looked after and left on his lonesome on a night but Leeds worked so hard for that not to happen. McDermott said it was pretty much a slap in the face for the likes of Jason Davidson and others who were constantly making him feel at home here and keeping him entertained instead of looking at 4 walls every night like he claimed.

After all the drawn out saga and the hassle Cronulla went through he's pretty much played every game off the bench over there this year when he's been fit. Not getting a starting 13 gig in the NRL and probably costly I'm sure he's interested in SL again when the NRL offers will be slim.

The ethos of this club has been committing to this club, that ethos has taken some stick at times on here but certainly proved successful again this year. Somebody of his poor commitment and excuses doesn't fit our club. I'd rather have young hungry player in his 20's looking to be a part of this club for several years get signed at hooker rather than Segeyaro at 31/32 coming for a payday and his best days behind him.

Another reason I wouldn't sign him, he is a bit of a flat track bully, and we have made our success of the past 14 years with big game players who rise to the occasion.

On the playing side he would be a great player for any SL side. However, if he does come back to SL I hope its not with Leeds, and after BM's comments about him in particular I can never see that happening whilst GH is around.
