I think you are being a bit unfair. He could tackle, when he had no other choice. He also was a good runner, but often would rather throw a daft past than take a hit. Lost his bottle after breaking his leg imo.

A half in that mould wouldn't go far wrong.

can see jamie jones retiring end 2017 not sure how long he as left but with acting,tv and match day in the long bar etc plenty to keep him busy been an awesome player. the club needs to be planning forward and look at recruiting and promoting even if it means a few average seasons like last one

that has to be a definate. its a miricale he is still going after all the set backs he has had down the years. i just hope he gets to see the season out and go on his terms and it isn't another bad injury that makes him call time early.

It's a miracle maggsy, jjb or Delaney are still going, one more injury and maggsy must be done for. It saddens me to think back to 2004 his lightening pace compared to what he's got now. JJB and Brett must also be one more big injury away from retirement problem being convincing them the times up with them both being absolute warriors.

Delaney is a few years younger than Mags and JJB isn't he? He might think he can go on for a few more.

Agreed, I think this should be his last year. He might last longer through the season if the coach didn't flog him (and Ablett) to death . Hopefully with Ferres and a fully fit Ward and Keinhorst that will change
