We haven't had the best start but to say you expect us to finish middle 8s is borderline crazy talk imo. We have lost to a very good Warrington team in a game we should really have won, got stuffed at widnes who will beat a fair few top teams at home this year and lost in a close game at Catalans who will also beat most at home as they usually do.All this with no hooker, our captain and several other top players missing and either side of the WCC which was a big focus for the start of the year.

Get a few players back and things can turn quickly, we didn't look too far away at times yesterday especially on attack. I know its your opinion but we are miles ahead of the likes of Hull KR and Wakey etc.. we may not make the play offs but are Super 8s certainties.

I merely opined that a lot of teams in SL are rabble and sh1yte. Although Leeds aren't very good themselves (and neither are any of the other top clubs who recently got levelled in the WCS by NRL teams in pre-season mode), I am by no means certain that Leeds have qualified for the rabble and sh1yte category just yet. In other words, I expect them to finish in the Top 8 at the very least.

The knee jerk reactions on here are both scary and very unfair. The initial question asked what we are doing on the training ground. We don't have one and I feel that this situation can hardly be helpful; otherwise, why do professional sports clubs invest so much in training facilities?
Brian McD has been and remains a great coach of this club.
The current injury is very bad and, whilst not an excuse, is one reason for the poor results.
Even without the above, this was always going to be a challenging season.

Not really no. How many first class facilities do you think there are in Leeds that are available when they're needed?

It will have had an effect, how big an effect I don't know but don't underestimate the effect top training environments has. That's why Leeds spent lots of money on Kirkstall in the first place.

The loss of McGuire I think is a bigger factor. If he hadn't been injured I think we'd have won both the Warrington & Catalans games and if both he and Briscoe weren't injured I think we'd have run North Queensland very close.
