Feel bad for the HKR fans in particular as I think they'd have travelled really well for this occasion, still will but obviously not as well for a Friday night game.

Looking at the fixtures the week before (last league game before the split). Saints play Friday, we play on the Sunday vs Catalans at home, surely we should try move this one (as the home team this time) to Friday to give us the same amount of rest as Saints.

Can't move the game to Friday since the Yorkshire Vikings are at home that evening.

What about Leigh sports village should have sufficient capacity given the crowds the cc games attract or even Salford's ground?

They're both only 12k capacity and both semi finals got 12k last year. You'd imagine both semis would get higher crowds this year as the clubs involved have higher crowd bases.

I wouldn't be surprised to see our game played at Warrington's ground on the Friday night and the Warrington game played at Doncaster.

Looking at train times, might be a fair few going by coach if it's the Friday night.

That's the git of it. It's such an easy train run, but getting the train back to Leeds in order to make connections from there is a blooming nightmare.

With the amount of people talking about our Game on Friday night somebody must of heard something...

I find it quite hard to believe that our game against Saints isn't considered by the BBC to be far and away the best of the two ties for the prime time Saturday slot, it being first against second in SL and also the pedigree of both sides in cup competitions over the last decade and more.

Nothing has been confirmed as yet it is all conjecture at this point

In terms of "prime time" I wouldn't be surprised if the Friday night game gets more viewers than the Saturday afternoon one, whichever one is chosen.

I would think the BBC see it no different to you. Have you seen what the alternatives are on Friday night TV? I would not be surprised at all to see a bigger TV audience watching a game on Friday evening, rather than Saturday afternoon, whether it is us V Saints, or Hull KR v Warrington. Hence why they are considering the better tie for the Friday evening, to see if they can get even more of an audience.
