I think there is stuff wrong with the lad, and he probably needs more or better professional help. Probably the most naturally gifted English forward in the competition, but never able to make the most of that ability. Which is a real shame.

Don't give a t0$$ about his disciplinary record, he's still a virgin compared to someone like Adrian Morely, but the guy simply isn't fit enough and never has been to play consistently or cover his defensive responsibilities when on the pitch for more than 20 minutes.

As most of Hock's suspension time was due to the one recreational drug use incident I hardly think you can compare him to Boyd who missed two full years for GBH on the pitch.

The point for me, given that I'm not much given to moralising about what players get up to, is that he has been unavailable for his employer to select for for a number of games that amounts to roughly 3 seasons of his career. That means that even if you ignore the cocaine ban, he's racked up a season's worth of ban in effectively 5 seasons. Did Moz really miss a fifth of his career through suspension anyway?
