Yes Mcdermotts tactics went well. I must admit i did expect more from cas after the game at headingly. Maybe I overestimated them as some suggested before the game, but leeds were in full grand final mode and the defence was ferocious. The only bug bear was that they didn't put the game to bed at 16-4 which made for an uneasy 20 minutes at 16-10 in the second half. As it is they won the trophy so it's irrelevant.
