| If Sinfield is still out we've got to figure out who's going to kick the goals. I know he's 4th choice but Sutcliffe looks a terrible goalkicker.

TBF I thought against Catalans he did ok, granted he missed 3 from the touchline but he gave them a good chance. Tonight though they were some terrible attempts. Would imagine that Hardaker/Burrow will take over when they return, which will definitely be the Cas game for Hardaker, possibly HKR for Burrow. May have to stick with Sutcliffe for one more match.

| It's a good job Sutcliffe practiced more kicking this week otherwise he may have missed all 3 pots at goal.

| Amazing you say the Coach is "Learning" re-Injured player Printer yet last week it was clear from around 15 minutes in Ablett wasn't right which has since proved costly!
As for a fully fit squad my 17 would be.
Hardaker
Briscoe(Handley if off form)
Watkins
Moon
Hall
Sinfield
Burrow
JP
Aiton
Singleton
Achurch
Ablett
Delaney
R.Ward
Leuluai
Walters/Jjb(fitness dependent)
Sutcliffe

Obvious difference between not selecting Sinfield (or Leuluai) for the match having had all week to assess their fitness compared to a player picking up a knock mid-match and not truly knowing the extent of the damage......most players will say they're fine to continue and it wasn't like Ablett was a passenger ala JJB & Watkins at Wigan last year, he came up with that key score.
As for proving costly are you telling us that Ablett would've been fine to play at Wakey if he'd have come off straight away vs Catalans or are you simply guessing to have a go at McDermott?

| Guessing?
I'm saying it was obvious he was injured early and carried that knock till the last few minutes are you saying he was right to keep an injured player on the park now?
Also given Jjb's injury at ST's I don't think it's out of line to suggest he does not handle injuries well as a Coach.
We will never know if subbing Ablett would have made him available last night or not but the evidence is clear that he was carrying a heavy shoulder problem early and was not subbed which has lead to him being on the side lines.

Both were named in the 19. Sinfield was named in the team one hour before kick off.
I actually don't disagree with you on the learning, but think you have your point wrong above.

Oh wait, you apparently do know that not subbing him is the reason he's on the sidelines.

Yeah nothing wrong with giving them until the 11th hour, all coaches talk about giving guys until the "11th hour" to see if they're ok. Given that Mulhern was drafted in to the 17 even though he wasn't in the 19 compared to Luke Briscoe shows he knew the chances of both not making it in advance.

| McDermott said Moon jarred his shoulder early in the first half but he is a tough bloke and stayed on.
Apologies but I thought the coach is responsible for team selection not the players.
He also said something along the lines that implied Wakefield had a top pack of forwards and we did well to match them.
With all due respect to Wakefield they too had players missing but a Leeds team who could have gone top yesterday should be smashing that team off the park.
Well done Wakefield you found a way to win.
