Calm down. We lost because on the night our opponents were outstanding - thats sport. What didn't help our cause were mistakes from Watkins, JJB, Ablett and Hardaker and a generally poor kicking game. These were were nothing to do with tactics of the coach and neither was the Saints superb scrambling defence which kept us down to one try.

So JC selecting a 17 man squad losing 1of those to injury and keeping him on longer then not utilising the full bench is again no fault of the Coach?

After the Huddersfield game where Leeds were fortunate to get even a point the coach wouldn't be drawn on the thinking behind Achurch not getting on, will he be any more communicative this time as more points needlessly slip through the fingers against a massively understrength St Helens team.

That said Leeds still had enough ball to win two games but aside from Burrow's one man darts from acting half created little. St Helens defended very well but Leeds continually ran at the defenders rather than at the gaps.

Sorry but Saints did not defend brilliantly, they defended with heart. Just because we scored only one try does not necessarily mean they defended brilliant. Look at the stats for Leeds and compare to other games.

A team defending well. The opposition do not make that much yardage, do not have that much territory against them. We were clueless with the ball and easy to defend when the space ahead ran out. That was why we only scored one try.

And just to back this up further, Saints missed 33 tackles in that Mach. We lost because our attack was very poor, not Saints defence very good.
