Doesn't work for me. Looks like somebody's aimlessly shoved a superman logo on the front of a rugby shirt. Oh, wait...

But if it generates a bit of publicity and revenue for the clubs and/or the sport, then why the jolly well not? Nobody has to buy it.

I haven't bought a strip since the John Holmes one. I like this one because its daft and suggests that the game isn't taking itself too seriously. Which considering both sides will be trying to lose , is just as well.

Nice and convenient for Wigan. They can take Applicado off their shirts now they've gone into admin.

Less convenient for Leeds Building Society, who find themselves relegated to a gimmick on the bottom of the shirt.

I'd imagine they were consulted.

Be interested to know whose idea this actually was - whether the distributors of Man of Steel have approached the RFL and both clubs have been told it's happening, or the clubs have initiated it themselves.
