Given the hep story surfaced ages before the season's end I very much doubt it (unless there's been another which I've missed). Nor do I think Peacock will be retiring just yet.

When that story was published it stated that whichever player it was hadn't played or trained for his club since the diagnosis. This immediately rules out JP. There is a different Leeds player though who it COULD be, it would explain alot of the subsequent none appearances. When the story broke I instantly thought of said player, however, i could be putting 2 & 2 together and making 5.

That could make it Webby but as he has signed for the Cats that rules him out

Because James Deighton announced yesterday on twitter that "a West Yorkshire rugby league legend" would be retiring today. I think the term legend has probably been stretched a tad in this case.

Oh - right... although saying Dickens is a Rugby League legend (or ledgend as I saw on epic fail tattoos) is, as you say, a stretch of anyone's imagination.

I guess if it is Stuart Dickens he is classed as a legend in Fev.
