Peacock is an absolute legend but it wouldn't be the crime of the century if he followed Sinfield's and Ablett's lead of doing less but =#FF0000contributing more.'"
What?
In the GF JP made 209 metres, 32 carries, 30 tackles, 4 Marker tackles, 2 offloads, 1 tackle bust. Are you suggesting he brings the water on as well when he is on the bench?

| Quote rhinoms="rhinoms"TVOC watching the game back i think JP may have got a grip on Myler if he hadn't been taken out by Jjb who had tackled the dummy runner!!'" need to watch it again
peacock was simply to slow to get to myler and only managed to get a hand on his dipping shoulder as he went past.
by the time jjb makes contact with harrison and then peacock, myler is a good meter through the line.
(jjb out to in defence leaves some questions though)

| Are the player stats (in all their flaky accuracy) available anywhere? I usually rely on reading them here but I can't see them...

| I can't believe that in a thread stating how good JP is, someone has to highlight a missed tackle. And a missed tackle on a nippy half back at that. For a prop who has played the minutes and games he had, it can be excused. Myler summed up the situation and scored a good try. I guess some people just can't help looking at the negatives and stating the obvious.
Since JP announced his international retirement he seemed to have improved each week. Maybe it's in the knowledge that he'll finally get a break this closed season. He might not always make big yards but invariably attracts 3 or 4 defenders.
Legend doesn't seem to come close when describing him

While I agree with the rest, he had only played 3 minutes of this particular game...
But isolating your nimble halves against a prop forward in a bit of space is the sort of opportunity an attacking structure dreams of creating. Only one likely outcome from that point.

I didn't really pay much attention to that score but wasn't it just that the dummy runner drew JJB leaving a agap between him and JP and Myler ran through the hole?

I'd have to watch again. I thought Leeds had numbered up OK but simply got the wrong defender up against Myler. JJB was pulled wide to leave space. I suppose you'd need a shot where you could see the whole line to be sure where the problem was.
Didn't matter in the end though!

You haven't read many of TVOCs posts then?
He's a little ray of sunshine these days.
Thank goodnight he didn't have internet access in the 1980s.
