Thanks for the one-club supporter perspective. But I'm one of those rare breeds whose primary interest lies first and foremost in the health of the game as a whole. I would never purchase a full season of crap so why would I feel the need to purchase half a season of crap? I'm assuming you believe having to put up with half a season of crap is only half as bad as a full season of it? The reality is that it's still all crap.


That'll be every club apart from Wigan, Warrington, Saints and Leeds IMO. Hull FC shouldn't be but they still are. Catalan may buck the trend but they remain work in progress. The rest are most definitely whipping boy SL rabble.


If I was, I'd be happy about Leeds being current SL champions. Being champions of a mediocre competition whilst making a living out of being mediocre themselves for the most part doesn't really do it for me. Of course, it'd be helpful if they were challenged each week instead of having to play whipping boy SL rabble 3 weeks out of every 4.

I got a bronze membership which includes a free ticket and then a half season ticket.

i also opened a rhinos account for a free shirt and match tickets for a game.

William Eve isn't a true Loiner or Whino fan and not sure if he even likes rugby or even life. He just likes to moan and by the looks of posts probably a lot more than most.

So a team failing financially should not be docked any points, administration alone is full and fair punishment ?

It seems that your gripe may not be with the game of rugby league, just born out of fear of playing Wakefield

Any team finishing 6th, 7th, 8th and [size=1509th[/size should not be contesting any play-offs to determine who are SL champions.

So i think Wakefield are 8th, which is the reason you will have your poor relations for tea on Saturday.

If the rules state that points should be docked for a club entering administration then that is what should happen. If another two clubs (as was the case this year) benefit from a higher placing on the final table than they had actually earned on the field of play, so be it.

No-one should be in any doubt though that any club making the play-offs who otherwise would have finished 9th have not earned the opportunity with their own efforts but have been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.
