Last time I saw John Bentley was at Sinnys testimonial dinner, apparently he does a lot of after dinner speaking time stuff.

Last time I saw Bentos was the home play off game against 'ull. I think he works for Leeds Rugby in some capacity as he seems to favour the tan coloured shoes that most of the clubs coaching staff favour.

Was involved at Leeds Carnegie doing Barrie McDermott's equivalent job of smoozing the business clients up to last season - not sure whats happened to him this season though - is also involved at Cleckheaton RU and is always hovering around the microphone at any function or sporting occasion to be introduced as "British Lion John Bentley" - a very funny speaker too, not afraid of the odd risque story as the well heeled VIP guests, women and children discovered when he gave a little speech at a Moortown Armed Forces fundraiser a couple of seasons ago

i'll be playing rugby with bentos again at the kowloon 10's next march, great lad but thinks he's a comedian instead of telling his rugby stories, doddie wier told all johns jokes before he could at the sportsman's dinner we went to john was none too pleased
