So if someone happens to live in Thorne near Doncaster does not know "OWT" about rugby mate then its a bit strange why the old Legend Hanley thought it was a good idea to become coach and believe it or not one or two players have had a crack at Rugby League in this area and have done well.

I was pretty much in line with both disallowed Cas tries, and both were clearly forward passes. It was a good advert for why they don't go to the video ref for such things, as some of the angles made them look OK. They weren't.

We took our performance to another level tonight.

Laid a platform, were very good defensively, had lots of runners and looked dangerous all night with ball in hand. I though McDermott was in last chance saloon after the Hudds game, I'm glad he's bought himself some time and I hope he can continue to turn it round.

McGuire was great tonight, stepped it up another level from Monday. McShane was outstanding and probably my MOM. JJB, Ablett, Hall and Delaney very good and Watkins had a quiet night but was very effective in what he did.

Thanks GCH. I ranted on another thread about Stevo's reaction to the replays when they were never clear cut. On what was shown on tele I'd have probably given them but no replay ever showed a clear overhead shot to be able to make a proper judgement on.

I'll say. Cas had a lot of time in our 20 in the first half, on the back of some very good play, but they couldn't find a way over our line. Some outstanding last line tackling kept them out.

I can't comment, I wasn't in line with it. As I explained, TV replays can be deceptive. If I'd been in line and it was forward, I'd say so. For example, one of the offloads from Webb when receiving the re-start was forward (slightly). I was in line for that one.

I thought it was OK, marginal but OK. I also your 2 were OK as well and that you were a bit unlucky.
