All top flight opposition,all 4 beaten away from home,I think we deserve a little more credit than you seem willing to give us! Leeds,quality opposition that they are were thrashed by warrington 30-6 in this years final,it wasn't even close! I met some gracious leeds fans at the end of the game(a small minority in leeds shirts were actually still in the ground at full time)and they admitted that they could not live with us on the day! So for THOSE leeds fans,I hope you win the grand final. I can't see past another Leeds V Saints final,with another Leeds win. Leeds have peaked at the right time,our peak was the cup final,which was to early for grand final glory. I hope next year Warrington don't bother defending the cup and go for the super league title instead. It's a big ask for a team to win both trophies,and I am more than happy with our success in the challenge cup recently. Time to concentrate on the other one! |

St Helens have won more SL Titles than any other club [size(although it's 4 apiece with Leeds in Grand Final terms)[/size so to liken Warrington to them is being way too generous to the Wire.
