What's Ablett's form been like the last three weeks?

Consistent. The lad has not missed a tackle or dropped a ball.

Ablett has been brilliant all season and is our best 2nd row forward. Burrows not even our best 7 anymore.

There is no way you should drop your proven number 7 even if his form is patchy at the moment. What if McGuire goes down injured after 5 minutes like Burrow did against Bradford in 2003. McGuire was left out and we were left with Sinny and Dunnemann trying to run through the biggest Bradford team in history.

Very good discipline wise as well although his hit ups have been a little disappointing.

Some (not me) would say he still outworked Ian Kirke.

I will put money on kirke will play

This will be a test of McClennan's man management abilities someone has to miss out - I would Ablett for Kirke and go with that.

If Clarkson does miss out it will be a travesty and will cast doubt over McClennan's ability to make the really tough decisions.

If you were picking a side based on last night's performance then Burrow would miss out - can't see that though?

Burrow had a shocker last night, defensively he was OK but going forward he was terrible. I know one bad game doesn't end a career but he was nowhere near the player he was last year.

If we weren't playing such a poor team last night we'd have paid much more heavily for his mistakes.

Ablett or Kirke to miss out.

I think Ablett will be included. We have too many of the pack carring injuries and to leave a player out who has had a 3 week break would be wrong IMO.Just a pity he cannot play prop.
Clarkson should be included because he looks fully fit plus his form warrants it.
Eastwood, Bailey, Ali and Kirke are all playing while unfit and Leuluai also got a knock last night. Whoever came through last nights game in the best shape should get the nod for next week although i fear we are going to be very light in the front row.

What a great situation to be in as Rhinos coach. Selection issues due to the availability of more than 17 in form players!

Clarkson in the 17 would be fully justified IMO on recent form.
