What will happen will, Leeds will request a postponement and have it accepted, or the RFL will deny the postponement and insist Steve McNamara releases one of the Leeds players, which I cant see them being too happy about.

Well this what can happen ? brngs into question the integrity of the comp, personally I would rather cancel and travel mid week with a stronger side, they are starting to show some form at quins now they have players back, lets face it with the number of injuries there are fair number of the side which have had a rest rest this year.

If they did that, how much would Quins lose in terms of sponsorship, tickets etc, because the numbers going down for a mid-week game would be far less than there would be even for a 5pm kick off on a weekend.

im not moaning, i just surprised that leeds are asking for a postponement when the club is one of a few to bring through good youngsters that could fill in the spaces left by the players who will be playing for england, thats all

Tother season when we had many more unavailable we showed great faith in our youngsters and rested all the players who had played in the mid season international. It worked a treat as our youngsters beat Cas and we kept our stars refreshed. Saints had a similar number of players but didn't show the same faith in their youth system and some of their internationals had to back up. Come seasons end our policy appeared to have paid off.

Nobody has any reason to moan whatever we do. We're the only club with the disadvantage that would allow us to postpone the game. I hope we don't and I suspect if Burrow were fit we wouldn't. If we do, we have every right and any moaning fekkwitt opposition fans can stick it in their pipe if they don't like it.
