Massive respect for the Salford faithful – applauding OUR players off the pitch at the end of the game, they didn’t have to but was very appreciated.

It was mainly Leeds fans sitting above you though, which is worrying.

I'd like to add my appreciation to the above as well; most refreshing sportsmanship from spectators and players who showed real spirit to the end. Well done Salford, a credit to your city.

It soon stopped when I lamped one of them.

Never been in the family stand before at Salford (the only 2 times I'd been before I'd paid to transfer to the main stand) but the family stand isn't bad. Having seating above terracing is a good idea (which is probably the Carnegie stand was built that way too)

i remember when that Salford stand was built ,in the days of their wealthy backer Mr Brian Snape and David Watkin was their capt.
they were the glamour club in those days

Impressed by the Salford fans.. Much better than others I won't mention . Most actually stayed untill the end . We would have stayed for your lot , but we only had 20 mins after the hooter to get back to the coaches .

Just a shame the same can't be said about our coach driver who took us to OT

, the Salford stewards , the 2:50 for a can of Carlsberg , the NO SMOKING rules (unless you had red on your shirt ) , the 1/4 mile walk for chips , the traffic on the way home , did I mention the driver ?

, ooooh , and the smelly karaoke pub .
All said and done it was a good night . Good result that was fought hard for . Was good to see a few faces from on here ( you know who you are ) . Best bit was that there was no trip to a humpalumpaless chocolate factory on the way home
