But during the past two years, when we were in a losing spell, it didn't last all that long and we still tried to play good rugby. This season we have been, with one exception, garbage. The lack of inventiveness, spark and ability to break a defence has been a feature of the whole season so far - 9 games - the worst run for years. The smallness of the squad means we can't rotate players and put fresh ones in of a high enough standard to lift the team. And can someone please tell me what the point of Buderus is? What does he contribute? New players are crucial if the season isn't to fizzle out.
Remember the last time we went out of the cup in the first round? Smith never lost 2 games in a row the whole of that season.
