Game went how most would have predicted it was just a bridge to far in the end for us. 1st half we looked good moved the ball well especially down the left handside again. 2nd half as expected we tired playing 4 games in 13 days will take it's toll. Child was poor for both teams really penalising one thing for one team and then not the other. Gale dropping that sitter maybe cost us a bit could have been up 24-8 at half time but just one of those things, can't fault effort from our players tonight though. Don't know about others but Catalans are one of those teams I can't stand watching there rugby is poor imo really clunky in attack and can't stand Maloney he makes more contact with oppositions head's than actual clean tackles the Tomkins brothers are them usual selves as well absolute grubs throughout that Catalans team can't stand them personally. We'll be up there at end of season hopefully we can catch a break with injuries and COVID and get our strongest team out for rest of season.

I would not play him when everyone is fit. Costs us too much now and offers not nearly enough.

Thought Catalans played a great 2nd half but I'll be interested to see how we go with a better rested side in the return. Agar and long have work to do as we still look short of plays or ideas at times.
Overall happy with how things have been going. But really it's all about what kind of response we can muster in response to a setback

Give him his credit scored a very good individual try but doesn't stop the fact S.Tomkins, Maloney, Kasiano, J.Tomkins, Mcllorum ( when he plays) are all grubs and love a whine when they think stuff doesn't go their way.

I actually don't mind Catalan. They've a good squad and would be nice for someone different to top the league instead of usual suspects. I don't know if Tomkins has mellowed a bit or he's had a broadside from McNamara. I wouldn't mind seeing Catalan top the table.

Maloany is such a good player but he really does make it hard to like him, that 40/20 is pretty much what beat us

There are lot of ignorant buffoons out there. The car ran of petrol at about 50 mins and no amount of effort could push it up the hill. Circumstances might conspire against us this year, but no team will look forward to playing us.

Great effort, just ran out of steam. A lot of sides would have conceded more tries in the later part of the 2nd half when the game had gone but they never gave in.
There is a lot to like about this team.
