Quality performance tonight great attack and good solid defence. Cuthbertson looked back to his offloading best Back three were constant all night, Mcguire and Burrow turned back the clock with their trys and performances, probably the best we've played since 2015 and hopefully we can continue these performances throughout the season. MOT!!!

One decent home win against a notoriously sketchy away team does not make me giddy boss.

On this board over the last year, the constant calls have been, don't play Sutcliffe as a Pivot play him in forwards, give Moon a go at stand off, give Baldwinson more game time, play more expansive. We did all that tonight, and look what happens. Had the coach listened to this board earlier he wouldn't have an axe hanging over him.

It was a pleasure to see some decent try's run in tonight. Catalans were awful, and we won't have many an easier game, but still the style was much better.

A good win, with some nice attacking play, albeit very dependent on a quick play the ball.

Good performances across the park, I thought we looked very balanced and fluent with Moon in the halves. The pace of the team seemed to pick up every time he got the ball (a bit like Johnson at the NZ Warriors, but not on that level). I also thought young Baldwinson in particular stood up and justified his start and added minutes.

Negatives, Child, Briscoe was terrible. I reckon Singo might get a ban for the hit on Bird, and when Child fell over I'm sure someone might have made contact with him (Hall?)

Like others I am not convinced but certainly more encouraged by tonight's performance. Have to back it up against Wakey.
