Very good performance. Very professional. Rutter Summerville Gruev Gray were the pick for me. Ampadu at CB really gives us something extra with how good he is on the ball, it really helps us control the game. Strujik good on the ball too but this lad bit of a class above.

Can’t believe bloody Huddersfield threw that lead away against Southampton… fuming. They’ve got to crack soon

I thought at 3-2 Huddersfield might hold on.
Not wanting to big this up too much as I know I get some stick now and again! But I did say I had concerns with Struijk as he doesn`t always see what`s going on around him and that Ampadu is a better bet.
I did mention that to Farke btw
On the other hand I don`t think Cresswell (who I rate) did himself any favours when he came on and might find himself below Cooper again.

Difficult for Creswell to be fair, he’s had zero minutes.. look at Gruev in his first game at stoke he was very very average

As you know I personally would like to see Cresswell alongside Rodon but think he might have to bide his time especially as Ampadu is performing well there.
I was saying the other day that 3 players who were available at various times this year had we bought them would get us top 2.
Those 3 Butland, Worrall and Moore.
Admittedly Messlier is doing ok but could be better, Ampadu/Struijk doing ok same with Bamford.
I think those 3 are a little bit better and would have helped us to the next level.

not sure why you are obsessed with cresswell. he's had a half decent season at millwall but that's it. plus he can't play left side. and rodon is miles better. a different league. as for butland he is the definition of average. that's why he's in the micky mouse league

As for Butland it appears the England manager is looking at him as a possible inclusion due to the other recognised keepers he tends to pick not getting game time.
Now don`t get me wrong Southgates selections do amaze sometimes I know and he still thinks Phillips and Henderson are England quality.

but cresswell is all right sided me old luv. so is rodon. thats why a right footed rodon and a left footed amadu work. and the best, or second best maybe, defence in the league means something is right. cresswell has huge potential. but that's all it is.

butland hasn't had a good season in a few now. he couldn't get a game at Stoke at one stage. and yes pal, the banters great. nothing personal. luv

you know, I think, in the championship at least, ampadu is the better option.
because we have so much ball to have an extra ball player there who can break is a huge advantage. in the Premier league I'm not sure about strjuik in there.
