Agree 100% with this no wonder we get called Whinos, look at the long running thread mcdermott out that started in 2011 and that in itself is quite embarrassing, same negative opinions recycled year after tear after continually being proben wrong.

We are in a hole no doubt but rational discussion goes out of the window on here sometimes whilst peoples super coach and teferee whinger Daryl Powell has yet to win a big game even this year.

Go on every board and it is the same. Especially the big teams, it is not just us far from it. Anyway, people are entitled to their opinions and after all this is the place we come to let it all out and vent our frustrations when things are not going well. Some people do go over the top a bit i will give you that but it would be a boring place if we all toed the Leeds party line and said 'ah well, things will come good in the end because they have several times in the recent past, keep serving up the dross lads'.

I wonder if this new stadium redevelopment will be a financial millstone as regards signing players ?

shouldn't be. if a club like Leeds can't afford to spend the cap, stand or no stand, something's wrong.

I don’t think many teams have a thread running from 7 years ago from a year into a new coaches regime that constantly calls for the coaches head using the same rhetoric throughout one of the best run of winning trophies the club has ever had.

Of course this board is for venting frustrations and of course everyone is entitled to an opinion but this place is so overly negative sometimes its like a parody

There’s having an opinion and offering analysis about that opinion. Then there is spouting the same tired old comments about our coach and players that has no basis for an opinion that when challenged falls apart.

On a lighter note Powell took a leaf out of Brians book last night. He only used 3 subs. lol

That thread gets dragged up more often than not by the idiots on here who only come on this board when we lose or away fans on the wind up.like i say, it is the same as all the other boards just that we seem to have a classic all in one place thread that due to its title has stood the test of time.

I agree about the negativity at times but losing at home to a very poor giants team minus their best player is bound to see reactions of that nature, no matter our current squad depletion.

These are the things i base my opinion on, which of those arnt true? If you rate him thats fine, But to say theres no basis for the criticism of mcdermott is laughable and plain wrong.

Soft in defence - yeah, we’ve conceded 8 more points than castleford this season. Totally soft.

Poor use of subs - and I guess your coaching masterclasses you hold every week for the 11 other super league coaches is why they’re all more successful than we are.

Dreadful rugby for most of his tenure - damn it, we keep coming last in the league. Our rugby is so damn awful. I mean, holding Cas to nearly nil and producing one of the best GF performances I’ve seen is so damn dreadful.

It has been hard to watch for a lot of his era though, i don't think you can argue that to be honest. Yes, he has been great and getting us over the line when it matters but apart from the first half of 2015 it generally hasn't been entertaining. If you think it has been, great for you but iv'e not enjoyed most of the seasons with my eye up until those play off series.
