Warrington Wolves vs Catalans Dragons to be played Sunday 8th August with the venue tbc (I think it'll be the Stobart Stadium in Widnes or Paris).'"

RFL have chalked off Paris, so it's either the Stobart or LSV.

Where's the Stobart Stadium in Paris?

| I wonder if Huddersfield have said they have can have the Galpharm on the Sunday but not the Saturday because it is opening day of the footy season?
The following quote from Sporting Life seems very deliberate to me and not a typo.
Quote: "The Warrington-Catalans tie will be played on Saturday, August 7, with Leigh or Widnes the likely venue, with Leeds and St Helens set to do battle at Huddersfield - where Saints won 26-16 in a repeat semi-final two years ago - the following day.'"

| Why not play the Warrington game at Toulouse? Leigh and Widnes are a tad close to Warrington when people are moaning about our game being played at the Galpharm!!!

It most certainly would... and therefore to some degree, also mine!

| Quote: J O N N Y "The choice of stadium is key, especially for those that like to see RL played in front of full crowds on free to air tv. i rememeber a couple of seasons ago Hull Vs someone (i clearly dont remember it that well) being played at the Keepmoat stadium. At first there was uproar because of the percieved small scale of the ground, yet it didnt sell out and so the RFL were vindicated in their decision. '"
That would be Hull V Friday's visitors to Headingley
You're right about the uproar as there also was over the choice of venue for the other semi final that year. Neither game sold out IIRC.

| Sporting Life appears to be the only place that is NOT saying that Leeds v Saint is on SATURDAY (per rfl, leed, saintss, wolves, bbc, sky etc etc etc). Football season would normally start about 7/8th but it may start later due to World Cup.
Hudderfield are playing pre season games up to the 4th so would seem a bit much for them to play on 7th "for real"
