| The worrying aspect of this season for me would be the complete lack of structure with ball in hand. It's reminiscent of 2006 under Smith, when the entire gameplan seemed to be for someone to come up with a miracle individual play and the support players to feed off it.
Compare the way Leeds move the ball in attacking positions to just about every other team in the comp, and they at least look like they have a plan even if they lack the talent to execute it properly.

This hits the nail on the head for me.
Echoes my comments on a number of other threads.
We rely too much on moments of individual brilliance, especially close to our opponent's line.
This hasn't improved in the 20 0r so years that I've been watching the Rhinos.
Hence teams with inferior players (eg Bradford on Friday, Cas last season and Wakefield on occasions) have beaten us from time to time.
That is not to say that we have a divine right to win.

I agree entirely. Bloody good job we have the best defense.

Not when we play the better sides we haven't and pace around the ruck still does real damage to Leeds, I tell you something that has also surprised me, the number of times Senior has been stood up on his heals this season.
Menzies murdered him on Friday night.

Didn't realise that the Rhinos even existed 20 or so years ago?

Yes, Tad, I have sent you through a marker pen so you can jot down what you know about RL on the back of a stamp!!
Bluey now handed his backside by the mighty Salford City Reds, truly outstanding, no really, truly bloody outstanding!!

| First i thought this thread was shocking, but im starting to sway the same way.
We have been way off St Helens on 2 occasions.
We got taught a Rugby lesson by Manly - Who are this season very average in the NRL.
We got beat by the worst Bulls side in SL history.
Now weve been beaten by Salford who we have not lost against for over 13 years.
Im struggling to think what is going wrong?
They player seem to think the game is won before kick off.
They are very ill-diciplined.
They lack ideas in attack
All down to the coaching.

It's April. It doesn't matter.
