| Don't get carried away, (we) Leigh Centurions have had far better championship squads than this lot, and also we have a ex 'lower league' player in charge who's only other head coach job was with Pilkington Recs.  |

Im no fan of Rhyse think hes been poor but he snuffed a lot of Leigh attacks out tonight and made a great break in 1st half. Sutty fitted in well at full back and Tom Briscoe continued his good solid form in the centre.
Pleasing night. Clubs future is very bright. This batch of kids is very good. Fingers crossed Tommy the Tank stays healthy cos hes fun to watch on your team.
Weve a lot to look forward to in next decade or so if club can hold them all together.

Yeh, let's not carried away here - this is Leigh, who are getting pumped every week.
Sounds like T Briscoe had a decent game. Doesn't change the fact that he's well past his best.
I listened to the game on the radio and obviously you don't see the detail.
But sounds like Tommy was awesome.
Leeming is doing a good job in the halves.
And Broadbent is clearly a class act.
The future is definitely bright with the crop of kids we have.
And they seem to be delivering, rather than just having potential.
But let's remember, we've turned over Leigh and Salford.
That's not the benchmark.
The next 3 games will give us a gauge of where we are.
And I'm looking forward to them! |

You know what, I don't think he'll be a million miles away. I wouldn't swap him for many other props in the league now. The key for him though is staying fit and continuing to work on his game. |

I had hoped we where on the verge of a second Golden generation, I really think we maybe just are. Newman, Broadbent, Okedski, Holroyd, Walters, Gannon, O Connor already luck the business. Then we have Edwards, Tindall, Sinfield and a few others on the level below.
Special note; lovely hands from O Connor putting Holroyd into that gap, he looks a classic ball playing 13. Time to bring back the classic 13. |
