Im more concerned by the lack of impact in defence from our pack. As mentioned..put fusitua, newman, handley and potentially mcdonald in this side nxt season and we'd make plenty of meters, even with our poor props. Defensively, they wont help, we'l still be getting rolled down the field with 3 players getting dragged meter after meter through the middle trying to get someone on the floor.

I do feel its a make do year for the props though next season, we'v got plenty of money and quota tied up in tet and prior who are both rubbish, not sure how much more we can allocate to that position, unless we get lucky and can get rid of one of them

Let’s put it this way, if we don’t improve our front row for next season, our backs had better make a lot of meters, otherwise we will be playing in our half an awful lot…

One thing you can’t criticise this side for is lack of commitment

Inconsistent refereeing, Catalans should have a man in the bin. Leeds' fitness showed towards the end and Dwyer and Myler are key for the play offs.

You know what, if prior could be ar sed finishing the tackle in the middle of the field we might not concede there. He is dire.

Second half much better than the first, with halves back next week, and weaker opposition, we should have enough. It’s the amount of territory we will hand them that’s going to take the petrol from our tank, meaning we will tire in the playoffs.

Good spirit shown again, look fit, look like we can put points on the board with decent territory..but like everyone apart from agar knew at the start of the season, lack of size and punch will be our undoing

I don’t think it is their pack marching all the way up the field in 5 tackles. I think it is their pack and their outside backs jointly.

By comparison If you have handley and fusitua on the first two runs then you get more meters and a much quicker play the ball. So the third and fourth players are on a quicker play the ball, in a better field position and can get some momentum moving you forward.

Instead first and second is tindall and briscoe. So generally a slow play the ball with limited meters being made. Or the players who would take the third or fourth charge end up taking the second and third to try and move us forward, they maybe then have to take a second carry. We then have a slow kick play the ball and a kick under pressure from a relatively poor position. So Catalans start in a better field position, on the front foot and they have their first choice outside backs to get them going.
