Hang on where have I said that? Ive more perspective than you, the game was entertaining with flashes of real quality and some real frantic scrappy play. Far from the best game ever but entertaining and close, Leeds greatly understrength and wire having an off day in many respects, some forced and much of it unforced. But Christ, compare it to top flight football for entertainment, athleticism and character and we're bloody spoilt. Ashamed, get a grip.

| Quality of the game was poor but it was entertaining. Both sides made mistakes and we struggled to keep hold of the ball very well. Defensively we gave everything and ran out of gas a minute too early.
Had the game finished all Square I know who would have been the happier coach. Though it's games like this where we miss Shinfield leading us around the pitch

| I said ashamed for switching off in the last minute, as they did.
Entertainment and quality go hand in hand for me. If a game lacks quality, as tonight's did I just can't find it entertaining. I found myself flicking to see how Murray was doing a few times.
People criticise the NRL for its lack of expansive play, but jeez, give me the quality of both attack and defence over what Leeds have served up over the last 4 weeks any day.

| Quote: Harrigan "Yes, I said at half time to the people I was watching the game with how poor a first half it had been. Nothing in that second half changed my mind. The only difference would have been that I wouldn't have critised Leeds for switching off in the last minute.'"
i agree in terms of the quality of play on show - too much dropped ball, poor attacking cohesion at times, but I thought it was a very entertaining game. Could have gone either way. I'm definitely not ashamed of the performance though. Not sure why you are.

Again, the only place I used ashamed was of that last minute where they switched off thinking they had got the draw.
Without wanting to sound like a broken record though, I just can't get any entertainment out of seeing that many errors, poor kicking from both teams and just a total lack of idea from both teams halfs.

As a neutral, you get this honest and fair assessment, and then you get people took in by the 'closeness of the score' and who hang on every word the sky commentary team say. They put a hell of a lot of spin on things to appeal to an audience, the game, in quality stakes was diabolical and in good conditions too. But people won't see past that..
I actually find it bewildering that so many people are against Harrigan's post. Just look at the knock-ons people for christ sakes! It was billed as the 'top game'!!

Don't back track you said "Leeds should be ashamed of how they've played tonight".

| To both of you, the whole paragraph of which that was part of read,
"Leeds should be ashamed with how they've played tonight. That last set was amateur to let Warrington drive down 100 m."
That's because I was referring to the last drive. You can take any quote out of context. If you're going to quote me though, at least get it all down.

| I have to admit, it's a pretty poor defensive set to let Warrington go from their 20m line to ours within about 4 tackles.

| Both sides skill levels and play making were extremely poor, but a superb exhibition of courage and commitment from our boys.
It's starting to shape up to a very interesting end of season finale, no team at the moment is playing with sufficient consistency to inspire confidence enough to win through to old trafford. Maybe the giants ?.
Certainly Warrington on tonight's performance don't frighten me, and Wigan seem to have hit a bad patch, possibly fretting about the potential loss of Tompkins .
If we get some of our big guns back in time for them to gain some sort of match fitness , we could come through on the rails.
Whatever happens there will be a fair few teams dreading the thought of playing us in sudden death play off games.
One downside to tonight's game was the poor attendance , this must concern Warrington , if the match was taking place at headingley I would presume an extremely higher attendance .
