| To be fair to the club, apart from the clear improvement in facilities, this is the first price increase since 2014 so whilst it's a jump, taking a spread over the past five years it's less pronounced.

| £36 for non-wing seats in the Carextentigie does seem a bit steep. Believe it'll be £37 in the new seats.
Can't help but think that maybe they should take a hit on Western Terrace revenue and drop matchday tickets to £20. I reckon once it's all open, the 8k or so covered terrace "cheap" tickets will sell out way before all the seats ever do, amd probably quite regularly, meaning floating/casual fans will either have to fork out for seats or pay 20% more than the price they used to pay when they got a roof over their head!
I'm currently paying either £26 or £29 for me and £5 a kid for Leeds United. And I can get a fiver off most games using family and friends member/st £5 off vouchers. United Vs Swansea in a few weeks on a midweek night will cost me and a kid £31 (£26 with the voucher). To sit in equivalent seats at Headingley on a Thursday night Vs Salford will cost us £58. Standing on the WT would be £36.
Can't help but feel these prices are a bit ambitious, but I'm sure they'll average 14k or so anyway

| It's also the way the game is going at the minute. When you think it's £23 into Cas and £24 into wakey on match day, it kinda puts it into context a bit.

I think Rl undervalues itself, most other sporting events charge much more, paying just shy of £40 for pretty average seats at the indoor athletics pay loads and loads more for NFl. really don't think £24 to stand up and £36 high end seats is that bad, you pay £40 -£50 to see a band nowadays even moderately successful bands in 2k venues arenas showed £60-£80. i pay £40 a pop to go on a dive boat for the day fishing boats are £40-£50 it like £12-15 for a movie. Rl is great Value and Leeds Rhinos are one if not the British Games premier club.

Yeah agree with the last bit, certainly regarding Leeds. Not convinced the sub standard facilities at places like Cas and wakey can keep raising prices. The 1 positive aspect is both sides play a good brand of RL , however that isn't all the supporter wants nowadays. They want a full day out, to be pampered, a luxurious meal, a guest speaker and to be treated like VIPs. Leeds Saints Hull can cater for this in abundance and make a killing, especially on none match days.

The new restaurant in the north stand will take another 450 people so at £100/head that a cool £45k just one restaurant - its more than some clubs take for the whole match

A friend has a table at every game in the pavilion/north stand. He was telling me pre-xmas that they tripled the prices for a table in the new south stand. He didn't get rich by accepting that sort of deal so has stuck with the old prices in the old place. He told me the prices but I'd had a few so it's long gone. The potential is mouthwatering, but the club was bricking it when they flirted with relegation. It could have been catastrophic.

Really - that is untrue as there are no tables in the new Southstand - there weren't any on the old either
You are correct that the club were very concerned at the impact of on field performances on commercial revenues - however there concerns were unfounded as are conjecture on where the new stadium that Cas. are going build are.

Thirty odd grand he was saying. Are there new private boxes in one of the new stands? It's a moot point really; I was praising Leeds approach.
I'm not sure there is any relevance to Cas. Or do you have a chip on your shoulder as well?

There are indeed new private boxes in the new stand but you cannot compare the cost of those to anything else as Leeds never had anything like that in the past. Logically if you wanted to move to upgraded facilities you would expect to pay more.
Why would have a chip on my shoulder - Leeds are not playing in a stadium that is in the same state as it was 40 years ago and the two games that have really mattered over the past 10 Leeds have won. I would suggest its you.
