| Out of the 2 i'd rather go with the younger, unknown quantity over Rapira.
We didnt miss much with Mossop think this could be another dodged bullet.

| Looking at the prop rotation for next season we were missing some size, Cuthbertson excepted.
Singleton, Yates, Baldwinson are all the more mobile variety of front-rower so we needed to add some beef to that, which Mullally will do.

| I think its a good long term signing. I think short term Rapira would have been a good addition, but Mullally has potential to be a mainstay for a good few years, along with Singleton

| A decent guy and no bother to have around. Keen and a trier until he gets tired.
The challenge for Leeds will be to get him capable of doing more than 10-12 minute spells. After 8/9 minutes he is not hitting up and getting very ropey in defence. Also after a couple of hit ups does not appear hungry for the ball. His defensive positioning and reading of the game needs improvement.
With the number of interchanges set to drop his low minutes could be cause for concern.
In some ways puts me in mind of feka. A few eye catching runs but question marks in other parts of his game.
Worth a punt.

| I think that assessment is a bit unfair. AM did far longer stints just fine when out on loan at Bradford last year. Paul Anderson sends him out to do short aggressive spells and uses Huby, Kopczak and Crabtree for longer spells.
Giants wanted to keep AM, he had a choice of two of the better teams in SL and chose the bigger whom have a record of winning things.
He is big and athletic, he should get better and better. A decent signing for anyone.

He did play longer minutes at bradford- he wasn't as effective in those longer spells though. Initially I remember the club saying he was a "project" when we signed him, his go forward is fantastic, but there's more to a prop than that- 7 tackles and 3 misses in two 10-15 minute spells will need improvement for Leeds. He did seem to be working a bit harder in defence recently, be interesting to see if that continues....

| I dare say with the Rhinos fitness regime he'll be much fitter and able to work harder once he's here

| I would go along with most on here who have said this is a solid if unspectacular signing. At 23 he is still young enough to improve and who knows where he will be at the end of the deal when 26 and coming into his prime.Could turn out to be a great piece of business. He should slot in nicely into our front row rotation for next season.Hopefully GH has a big name front rower on his radar and we will then look pretty good in that department moving forward.

He's a different player entirely to what he was when he first arrived at Leeds.
His performances when he did get a first team opportunity here were mediocre to say the least. Looked like a fish out of water at times.
Went out on loan to Wakefield, improved over that period of time but by that point Leeds had a pretty good front-row rotation of their own that he would have struggled to break into.
Has kicked on again at Saints and should be on the fringes of the England squad come the autumn.

I agree he did longer stints at a club that was desperate for any kind of prop at one stage last year (at the time chev walker was playing prop?!) and at a team that was relegated. Leeds will expect a bit more than the 2014 Bulls. I think leeds and the 2014 bulls are very different clubs.
Whether 2 clubs or 10 clubs were interested in him. He still struggles beyond 12 minutes, he has a low work rate after a few energetic hit ups, his defence is weak and the change in interchanges does not favour a player doing 25 mins per game.
He has potential and is worth a punt as a no 4 or 5 prop.

| Hope this does not push Mulhern further down the pecking order.
Not sure Mullally offers any more than Baldwinson and would like to see a half decent Australian/NZ coming in to replace JP still.
Mixed views from the Giants on here and his defence and inability to do more than 10 minute stints appear worrying.
Time will tell.
