He's Our Roberts Best Mate. And you wouldn't want to say it to his face. Just saying.

Yes fat Boy i'll jump to his defence. You may find he had to go straight into camp with England and that's why he was missing. As someone who has been on the coaching staff (and highly rated by Smith & Mac) for the last 4 Challenge Cup Finals and Last 2 GF's then I think his credentials are better than yours.
As for his personal life, well it's just that, personal. But seeing as you obviously have taken time out from polishing your Halo I suppose we should all bow to your great personal insights into another human beings alleged failings.
Get back to your cloud you idiot and the next time you want to personally insult someone through social media think long and hard. You could say it to his face as he's fairly easy to find but then I don't think you'd have the guts or the inclination.
On a more positive note, Well done on another outstanding Grand Final win from everyone at Hull KR.

Where have I disparaged his coaching abilities or his credentials?
That's right, I haven't. You're putting words in my mouth then calling me an idiot for saying them.

Is it really wrong of me to judge someone on what they do in the personal life? Should one ignore someone's personal wrong doings because they are good at their job? Jimmy Savile raised millions for charity he should be made a saint.

Why would I need "the guts" to say these things to his face? Is he likely to resort to violence? Nice bloke hey?

You believe that I am sanctimonious but you have the nerve to offer congratulations from “everyone at Hull KR” without knowing if they want to offer their congratulations. Now that’s sanctimony... and you call me an idiot.

| Fat Boy most people on here are rugby fans and they see Jimmy Lowes as a rugby player and now coach, unless they know him personally they won't really care what he's like as a person as all that matters is what he does professionally.
I didn't really like him when he was at Warrington, when he was put in front of the media he came across as rude and had a higher opinion of himself than he had warranted as a coach. Compared to Tony Smith's politeness and manners with interviewers, Lowes seemed to think he was funny making smart comments all the time which soon wore thin as we were losing.
However you can't deny he was a fantastic player and a great competitor, there's not many with a will to win like Lowes had and he has always been a very good reader of the game, he does seem to have done well as an assistant and is highly rated by his head coaches. So I have got a lot of respect for him although I don't really like him.

No doubt about that.
Me and my brother were just talking about Lowes on Saturday before the final. He said he had watched the Super League Super Men on Sky, and that Lowes said he was always hated by Leeds fans back then because they believed he left for more money, when infact he was happy to stay but told by Dean Bell i think, that he wasn't part of the future of the club and to find a new team.Bradfords gain for sure.
I dont know too much about the guy personally, but did see him doing the lap of honour with the team on saturday and he looked to be enjoying the celebrations as much as anyone.

Seriously?
This is the bloke who won't even look at the interviewer or the camera when on SKY Sports.

| Loews was a fantastic player for Leeds and especially Bradford. I always enjoyed watching him play for GB. Seemed to have more gusto for the internationals than Cunningham.
Never met him personally so no idea about his character.
I'll say this though, he may have been a decent hooker but he was no Mick Shaw.

| Off the pitch Jimmy Lowes is a very quiet and friendly person which was obviously very opposite to what he was like when he played. A lot of players are totally different to how they present themselves on the rugby field.
