I moved seats with my season ticket this year from the North Stand to the Carnegie Wings, been sat in North Stand since my first year in 2004 till 2009. D'oh

All this talk of shirts reminds me of a promise I made a while ago regarding my lucky shirt .
After one (or ten) people kept moaning about my dirty (it gets washed every time it been worn) old shirt I promised that if we didn't get to OT and win again I would retire the shirt .
I will miss it . It has seen some action . Some good times , some bad times , some painful times (and on very rare occasions , some sober times ) . It has been to almost every SL ground and a few others . It has had blood , sweat , tears , beers , curry , face-paint , gravy , sun-cream , beans , rain and snow etc on it over the three years I have worn it . I have some great memories of the times I have worn it . Time for it to go I think . I might frame it and the badges on it , and the hat and glasses .

On the other hand though .. If next year's kit ain't to my taste then it will be seeing some more action .

Staying on topic though . We never failed to win the GF when I wore that shirt to OT . However . We didn't even make it there while the glasses were going to matches .

By all accounts next years kit is going to be orange and brown - remember you heard it here first!

Is it the one with no number on the back, as you were in the South Stand Car Park before the game too ?

Sorry to disappoint you all but alas it was my fault. Saturday was my 50th birthday and for the past few years have entered the South Stand via the appropriate turnstyle - ie 44 when I was 44 years old etc etc. There isnt a tunrstyle number 50 so there you have it - my fault! Nothing to do with Emma's knickers or anything else it was me. I also wore my new shirt with my name and 50 on the back which a good friend had signed for me. Worn once and will now be displayed.

Having said that - it doesnt bode well for the future does it!! Note to Mr Heatherington - Please re-number the turnstyles into the South Stand.... Do you think he would oblige?

I also would like to blame Wigan for our downfall. We were attacking the wrong end of the stadium in the first half.

So will turnstyle 50 get me into the South Stand?
