This seems to be the problem that clubs won`t let their players come to us on loan as they are unlikely to get a game.
Whilst Gray has been decent at RB I would much rather see a proven RB play there as we planned with Spence.

it's interesting if we're in for him, he's a right winger left footed which is useful and really only James in the squad is best in that position all the others are better on the left.. so there's definitely sense in it, he can play 10 also.

A lot of this delay has been to do with lack of movement in the premier league. They want prem players who aren't quite getting a regular game, Leeds didn't want to gamble on unknowns from Europe like in years gone by.. it also helps them recruit these players for next year if they work out.
