| Quote: G1 "Keith's cleverest and most subtle work to date.
For the benefit of the Hull fans you have to understand Keith's modus operandi. He's not interested in slating Hull. The only time he's interested in slighting Hull is when they are minnows caught in the net of an "NRL is better than Sl" rant. Keith has no beef with Hull specifically and his comments here aren't actually intended to denigrate Hull. They're intended to denigrate Leeds. That is Keith's end goal.
You see, if Leeds win Keith's already laid the platform that the result is nothing to get excited about. He's already belittled any potential Leeds victory. But if Leeds lose, it's win win for Keith as he will have so much fun on this forum revelling in the fact that Leeds could lose to such "lowly"opposition".
Hull fans, don't flatter yourselves. You're not Keith's target. You're not on his radar. Also, if you're going to come on the thread before you get your knickers in a twist read comments from Leeds fans other than Keith and you won't see a similar view expressed.
Keith is an evil genius sometimes and this is an example of it.'"
As I mentioned earlier, there is nothing I've posted about the CC draw or Hull FC that could be considered even remotely controversial. The points I've made are based on incontrovertible evidence and facts.
Of the 9 SL clubs alluded to earlier who may be classed as whipping boys, just making up the SL numbers, who aren't genuine contenders for silverware, etc... every single bookmaker agreed with this assessment pre-season and continue to do so. Beyond Wigan, Warrington, St Helens, Leeds and Huddersfield there's extremely long odds available on the rest of the SL rabble winning SL or the CC.
WRT to Hull FC, it's a fantastic QF CC draw for Leeds and one which they ought to win comfortably. TVOC has already provided the evidence of past results which clearly indicates that Hull FC are rarely competitive when they face Leeds. Anyone with a collection of brain cells which are synaptically linked would agree that Hull FC is a favourable and generous draw for Leeds given the much tougher alternatives.
Hull FC are the most notorious underachievers in SL given the size, scope, infrastructure and financial clout of the club. They've rarely threatened the established order apart from in 2005/06. The evidence of their underachievement is incontrovertible.
The modus operandi on display here from our resident president of the agenda association is duly noted.

| Oh, and seasons stopped being referred to by two years once we switched to summer - no such thing as the 2005-06 season.

| Quote: Ferdy "Should be a good close game'"
Evidence of past results involving the two sides suggest otherwise.
Quote: Ferdy "Hull are in good form at the moment, and the result certainly isn't a formality. Will be a tough game that could go either way'"
Shame that good form [i'at the moment'[/i' bears little relevance to what their form might be in two months time.

Now who's a clever boy!
We have class though. FC don't. Form is temporary... class is permanent.
