Thankfully I don't think Arthur is thinking that way. Win the next two games and we are likely in the top 4 with 10 games played. The ambition should be  always to win, not to experiment with kids who haven't earned a spot. The likes of Lumb, Edgell and Sinfield have already got very good exposure under Arthur and when the time comes, if they are ready, I'm sure others will too.

Would we trade Frawley for Jackson Hastings ? or is that just exchanging OK for Good, when we need better than that...

It's the last thing we needed is yet more weakening of the pack and losing our best young player. He will develop into one of the best GB forwards imo the way he's going. He needs to leave on good terms with the club and we need to be first in line when he comes back, keep in regular contact with him and his team.


The difficulty also replacing someone as talented as Morgan is it will cost us more ££££ as he will have had a fair bit of cap exemption.. that's at least 2 good big forwards we now need for next season... no easy feet to manage within the cap and quota.    

I wonder how much Richard Agar played a role in identifying Gannon and pursuading him to go to New Zealand.

Agar being there was a big factor by all accounts, both in the Warriors being interested and Gannon wanting to go.

We'll need to tread carefully. Recruit players who will toe the line and if they don't know they'll be brought to heel. 

Hopefully, in time, there will be an equivalent Rohan effect with the likes of Frawley and Lisone being lured away for balance

Fingers crossed. 

Bit sad about Gannon but I don't blame him.


As before, and seemingly every season since 2017 we need key positions filled with top quality

Two more years for bentley

Perth from 2027, PNG from 2028, now talk of a 20th very soon after that (Jets area of Queensland being mooted). Distinct possibility that that leads to a restructure of the NRL, potentially into conferences. 


Will surely impact on quality of talent that would be prepared to come to SL, or those already here heading back. May also mean more opportunities in the NRL for the better SL players.


Perhaps there's more to NRL interest in SL than meets the eye. 

I wouldn`t be surprised if BA recruits 2 or 3 players from us if and when he returns to the NRL.
Croft, Handley and possibly Oledzki spring to mind.
