| It is incredibly humbling to see people auctioning off their prized possessions for Rob. Whilst I have nothing of value to offer in this area I can appreciate how difficult this must be. You should all be feel very proud of what you are doing. The support has been phenomenal.

| Its a no brainer. Theres a man with a family whos lives have inexplicably changed forever. A man that has given so much joy to my family and thousands of others. Its Christmas, I havent got a lot of money to donate unfortunately, but giving up a few possessions will help raise more money than I could afford to donate anyway. The shirts currently at £130, the ball at £90. Ive got other things im looking to donate to any events anyone knows of and plan to do some of the walks to the games. Lets raise as much money as possible for Rob, his family, Doddie, MND Assoc, the man on the street who needs it etc.

| I’ve donated my Paul McShane shirt that was part of my sponsorship when southstander.com used to get to sponsor a player every season, which raised £200 via raffle
I’ve also been given a family ticket to Disney on ice at first direct arena by a senior member of staff At the arena to raffle off when all numbers coming In it will raise £400.
Got some more items on the way from fans to auction / raffle off in the near future too.

| Quote: Swoggy Loiner "I’m a right mess mate, but going to get through it I hope. Climbing Tryfan last weekend has hopefully put me in good stead
No mean feat that mate, I did it as part of the Welsh 3,000 footers.
I coached Rob when he was just a kid playing for the BARLA junior Yorkshire teams so would like to do the walk myself. A lot of Cas fans are asking for details as they would like to join in.
I also have some memento's of coaching the Yorkshire squads to auction if some one could tell me where to send them. Still feeling gutted.

| These gestures are superb - my concern is there so much stuff out there will it impact the fund raising amount?

| When we emailed the club asking about doing some fundraising we received an email back saying that they were looking to get some events organised after Christmas as there were many who had emailed in also pledging support.
Im sure when the new year arrives that this will step up a gear from the club and fully expect a range of events for people at all levels to get involved with in some capacity.

| Just watching Doddie Weir 1 more try. On bbc last night. Gives a bit of an insight into what road may lay ahead for Rob. Doddie strikes me as inspirational, comparable to Steve Prescott. I'd read that Doddie reached out to Rob last week. He could potentially have a huge influence on Rob going forward.

| Bulls fan here, Elliot Minchella’s dad. How heartbreaking is this.
Spoke with Rob a fair bit when Elliot was in the scholarship and academy at Leeds, what a genuinely nice guy.
Attempted to watch his interview a few times but still can’t get to the end of it, so sad.
Really nice to see all the comments and wishes of support from fans of every club, but that was never in doubt.
A fantastic player but more importantly a fantastic person.
Heartbreaking

| Just seen Rob, Lindsay and the kids at Stone Brigg Lane lights in Rothwell. I was absolutely desperate to just grab him and give him a hug, but obviously respect his privacy and didn’t want to make a scene when with his family. Rob lived in my mum and dad’s street in Ponty for years before recently moving, so he recognised us and smiled. Just as the news was starting to sink in, I’ve come home a mess again.

Watched it myself mate and as you say it was an excellent programme and very enlightening.
I just wonder when some of the footage was shot though as Doddie seemed to be managing every day things almost normally. But on SPOTY he was drinking from a specially designed drinks holder as he couldn't manage a normal cup or glass.

These are precious golden times for his family and the man himself.
