| Lots of players pick up longer term injuries when they are younger, I'm pleased the club stands by them it shows we care and helps to create better human beings. In the case of Gannon, it's disappointing that after the club took the decision to prioritise his health over their prospective gain, that he has returned the favour by leaving at the first opportunity.
We have other kids coming through, we should now focus on them and develop them and if that means Gannon gets less game time as a result for the rest of this season then so be it. He has looked out for himself, the club has to look out for itself too.

Totally agree with what you say on supporting players, particularly younger players, though injury. It pays off in the long term and it's just the right thing to do. On Gannon - I think he's better (most talented) second rower, and he'd play every week for me. As a club we have to give ourselves the best chance of winning something this year, and he makes us better.

| I'm not saying I would drop him, just that he's not one of the first names on the teamsheet each week anymore. I'd look to try to get gametime for the likes of Ben Littlewood (when he's available) and perhaps a game here or there for Presley Cassell.

| I just hope he leaves on good terms and we do not drop him as if he does become available again in 12 months, we want to be first in line rather than Wanky / Catalans / Wigan.

Only makes sense to me if Croft is triggering his release cause for 26. We'd look way and expensively overstocked at half back with Hastings, Croft, Connor and Sinfield. In fact if I was, Sinny I'd leave.

Play offs at 5/6 at best and with Arthur going as well We need to give some valuable game time to the next group of players.

| Thankfully I don't think Arthur is thinking that way. Win the next two games and we are likely in the top 4 with 10 games played. The ambition should be always to win, not to experiment with kids who haven't earned a spot. The likes of Lumb, Edgell and Sinfield have already got very good exposure under Arthur and when the time comes, if they are ready, I'm sure others will too.

| Would we trade Frawley for Jackson Hastings ? or is that just exchanging OK for Good, when we need better than that...

| It's the last thing we needed is yet more weakening of the pack and losing our best young player. He will develop into one of the best GB forwards imo the way he's going. He needs to leave on good terms with the club and we need to be first in line when he comes back, keep in regular contact with him and his team.
The difficulty also replacing someone as talented as Morgan is it will cost us more ££££ as he will have had a fair bit of cap exemption.. that's at least 2 good big forwards we now need for next season... no easy feet to manage within the cap and quota.

| I wonder how much Richard Agar played a role in identifying Gannon and pursuading him to go to New Zealand.
