We wont win any games playing these tactics
Stop these embarrasing short kick offs

most bottleless fans in the league?
Very good hindsight punditry.
The tactics in the second half were totally different, much better line speed and intensity.
We won't win many games if we play like we did in the first half, but we'll win plenty if we play like we did in the second.
And if Cats had scored 10 more tries in the first half, they'd have led by 70.
If's and buts are irrelevant.

Simmo, we played alright first half. Bit unlucky , didn’t get any close calls. Good teams cope with that, and come back swinging…..

I disagree. But each to their own.
We scored two very eye-catching tries in the first half and tried a lot of off the cuff plays.
But the basics of solid defence, organisation and aggression were very poor.
That all changed in the second half.
Good teams also wipe the floor with a very poor Cas team.
Great win today, but let's not get too excited.
Must follow it up at HKR next week.

Agreed. So great watching some exciting RL again though, think we are bringing back a few Rhinos who were walking from the game…..

Another good thing about today is that it was a fantastic advert for the game on terrestrial TV.
That can only be a good thing.
I like what Channel 4 are trying to do.
I had mates messaging me who are not RL fans and would never watch a game normally.

The difference between second half today and last week is ridiculous.
Loved the win,

| First visit to HQ in a while and loved it. hope we never see the ridiculous passive defence again as we looked miles better on the front foot.

only hindsight punditry if you wet your knickers at half time mate
1st half was an even contest, as seen by even Sam Tomkins
but for 2 decisions we'd have been going in only 2 behind and it all to play for
anyone with eyes could see how dangerous we were when we were in attacking position the 1st half, and knew not to worry
shame you embarrased yourself with your posts but ah well

| Thought second half we ran much harder from the off but not sure we were much different in defence.

Let’s not turn this into a slanging match and point scoring contest. It’s a day for us all to enjoy as fans…..

| Unbelievable game to attend. The roof nearly came off for Newman's second try. 1st half showed (we already knew) that we are a supporters nightmare when we shoot ourselves in both feet. Second half showed that we are perhaps the most exciting side in the league when everything clicks. Just need to be better at the boring stuff. Pearce's try was right in front of me and it looked like a definite double movement. Will be interested to have a look on TV.

Just shows that if you have talented youngsters, Develop them, and most importantly, give them a chance, you can have the foundations of a really good team. Really hope all 6 get as much game time as possible this season.'"
Totally agree Matts and there are a couple more coming through too. I can see us having 12/17 home grown first teamers even next year. That side can only get better over the next 5 years or so.

| It also helped that it was a relatively dry track, I think we’ll see some great stuff as the weather improves.
On one thing OConner was outstanding and ran whenever he needed to, I honestly don’t think we’ll miss leeming

| Be very interested to hear Leemings take when he eventually speaks out. O'connor was very good and we saw more of him looking to carry the ball when the opportunity came. Decent run out for Johnson too.
