There seems to be a siege mentality developing and a desire to prove the bookies wrong. We clearly have a united unit and with Gale and possibly Tetevano and Smith returning on Friday, I wouldn't be surprised if we're competitive at the very least. But yes, playing on Friday after playing Thursday and Monday is absolutely crackers.

Say we can't field a team for Friday and take the 24-0 hit and give these guys some respite. It must be bordering on reckless now.

Catalans were lined up for the same schedule which was reasonable. Unfortunately the loss of the Catalans vs Hull KR game, due to also be tonight, gives them a big, big advantage.

Plenty has been said about Prior already but I suspect he's probably having a bigger role in the development of this pack than just turning in non-stop performances. Think it was Mellor earlier in the season that said Prior spoke to him about he goes about training and getting himself up for it and you can certainly see that sort of attitude developing accross the pack.

As far the calls about refereeing, the 6 agains are getting so inconsistent its ridiculous. And I'm not sure why the video ref, and indeed Sky, kept looking at the Lineham try. Looked clear as day to me that he lifted his arm and moved it forward.

In a funny kind of way, I think the bans and injuries we've had might help us on Friday. Obviously players have had to pick up the workload thus far but if we can get Gale, Tetevano and Smith back in for the weekend it might freshen us up a bit. If the forwards arent absolutely gassed by then, it's the first time in a long time that I can say I'd fancy our pack against the Catalans one.

Lots of signs that the boys were running on fumes last night. And spirited as we were, it's really unlikely that we'll meet another side that butchers as many chances as Warrington did. Big, big ask imo.
