I know I’ve been banging on about Holroyd for ages, but he’s shaping up well.

Carrying too much fat out of academy, but I noticed he really trimmed up for his crack at first grade last year.

Now two really strong performances straight off a disrupted pre-season and leg fracture.

Don’t have any inside info but I think Tetevano has already had some influence on the younger players. So excited about where this Leeds pack could develop.

Really enjoyed it. All the front rowers were very good and Holroyd stepping the full back was a highlight. Leeming did a lot of organising in the halves and it was good to see Lui take on the line. Must say I thought Tom Briscoe had a stormer at left centre.

New lease of life for Tom.

I think we will give Wire a game, although would like to see Tetevano back. More worried about Cats on the Friday because they are very physical and this crazy schedule has to hit us at some point.

Hopefully Smith will be back soon too, he’s another big body for us.

I think we’re starting to see a bit of Longs influence now, we do look to be shifting the ball well, it helos that Leeming has slotted in the 7 shirt nicely though

I have been quite impressed with Leeming as a stand in halfback. While only a makeshift he moves the ball well and I prefer him there to Myler, who has been great at Fullback.
As others have said Holroyd has looked the real deal these last two games. I appreciate they have been against the weaker sides in the comp, but really encouraging performances.

Pleased with that all things considered in difficult circumstances. Given i watch most of academy and scholarship games i should rave about our excellent batch of youngsters, they did a fantastic job tonight, but im gonna single out Rhyse Martin, Rob Lui, Sutty and Tom Briscoe tonight. Thought all 4 did a good job for us.

Im no fan of Rhyse think hes been poor but he snuffed a lot of Leigh attacks out tonight and made a great break in 1st half. Not sure where hes been last year or so but i thought he went well tonight. Lui gave that right edge some control when on and he defended well. Sutty fitted in well at full back and Tom Briscoe continued his good solid form in the centre.

Pleasing night. Clubs future is very bright. This batch of kids is very good. Fingers crossed Tommy the Tank stays healthy cos hes fun to watch on your team.

Weve a lot to look forward to in next decade or so if club can hold them all together.

Tough ask Monday against an in form team.

Don't get carried away, (we) Leigh Centurions have had far better championship squads than this lot, and also we have a ex 'lower league' player in charge who's only other head coach job was with Pilkington Recs.
