I love irony - it's such an intelligent form of humour!

Just a wee question, but why aren't Wakey fans (and Cas fans before that) entitled to gloat on our boards? It gets a tad boring after a while but so what - we're 3-times champs and fans of opposing clubs have - IMO - a right to come on our Boards and rub it in a bit when they beat us.

Also, like it or not there is a bit of arrogance in assuming that Leeds 'should' beat them because of who the clubs are. IMO Leeds 'should' beat them because on paper we have a stronger team, not because Leeds is a bigger club. Unfortunately the game is not played on paper. Thank goodness.

Fair play to them - they got deserved wins - sometimes the manner of the gloating can be a little 'base' but they're excited. Is it my imagination but was the Cas response a little more reasoned and muted though?

Its a compliment really. It shows what limited expectancies many other clubs' supporters have when faced with a game against Leeds and their cup final-eque crowing underlines their feelings of inferiority.

However, I'd expect quite a few more upsets this season. Leeds may very well have the best squad on paper but being able to raise themselves to successfully defend the title for the 3rd consecutive year must be an unbelieveable mental challenge for players and coaching staff alike.

Probably, although to be fair the Cas fans hadn't had to wait 19 years for a home victory against Leeds like we had.

We do ok at Headingley, but yep 19 years was far too long!

I'm starting to think there should be a specific typeface reserved specifically for when a poster is being sarcastic or ironic. The amount of rows it would prevent would be immense.

To the poster who said unloyal fans are not welcome here, I pay my money so can have my say. The start to the season is simply not good enough so this Friday I will vote with my feet.

If you accept mediocrity that is what you will continue to get. I'm not prepared to waste over £20 watching another shambolic performance like the Castleford and Wakefield games.
