Quote: Damo-Leeds "I do not remember Elliott Whitehead openly denigrating his club. What I remember is Francis Cummins going to the press and repeating private conversations between him, the player and his agent. It wasn't a couple of months when Elliott Whitehead decided enough was enough - it was rlOVER A YEARrl.
I certainly wouldn't want Cummins at our club just yet.'"
You're right, it was just over a year into a five year deal.
Nonetheless, he was reported as saying that Bradford weren't progressing, that there was nothing that Cummins or Bradford could have done better but that he just wanted out to play for a top four club.
Not the sort of attitude you want to be hearing about at training or in the dressing room.
Since then, he has said that he and Cummins didn't get on and that his perceived dip in form was due to that.
